| News | | Somerville voted Best Downtown in Somerset County | | 4.4.2007 |  Downtown Somerville was voted Best Downtown in Somerset County and 4th in Central Jersey in a recent poll conducted by Monmouth University Polling Institute and NJ Monthly magazine.
Somerville followed Red Bank, Princeton and New Brunswick for the best of Central Jersey's downtowns.
Good restaurants, unique locally-owned shops, as well as nice landscaping are the top three things those surveyed look for in a downtown.
