| Event | | Teen Arts Exhibition & Reception | | September 13, 2008 | SOMERVILLE - The Somerset County Cultural and Heritage Commission is sponsoring an exhibition of artwork by middle and high school Teen Arts students in two galleries this summer. Professional artists, who viewed over 300 submissions by this year’s Teen Arts Festival participants, selected the artwork.
A reception will be held in honor of the student artists and their teachers from 6 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, June 25, at the Student Gallery @ 40 North Bridge. The public is cordially invited to attend.
The students’ artwork is on display Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. at the Student Gallery @ 40 North Bridge, located at the corner of High Street and North Bridge Street, and in the Cultural & Heritage Gallery, on the first and third floors of the county Administration Building, located at 20 Grove St. The exhibit will run through July 11 in the first floor Cultural & Heritage Gallery; and through Sept. 12 on the third floor of the county Administration Building and at the Student Gallery @ 40 North Bridge.
Free parking is available in the Bernie Field Parking Deck directly adjacent to the county Administration Building, entrance on High Street.
