The Somerville Public Library will be hosting the Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey’s Next Stage Touring Ensemble as they present Moliere’s The Learned Ladies on the lawn outside the library on Thursday, June 26th at 7 P.M.
Attendees should bring blankets and lawn chairs. Seating will be available on a first come, first serve basis. All are invited into the library from 6:00 to 6:45 for light refreshments provided by the library and Verve Restaurant, located at 18 East Main Street across from the historic court house. Additionally, a drawing will take place for a free dinner for two at Verve. To be eligible to win, attendees will be asked to join the Friends of Somerville Library and/or make a donation to the group.
This play is recommended for ages twelve and up and admission is free of charge. The library is located at 35 West End Avenue, adjacent to the Borough Hall building in Somerville, NJ. In the case of rain, refreshments will still be served at the library but the event will be held in the Senior Citizen’s Building located across the street at 1 Mountain Avenue, Somerville, NJ.
